Hi Rachel,

First of all, this Cable NG is not on the end-user side. It was found during the customer's incoming inspection (IQC).
I have also updated the cosmetic NG case. Please find the attached file.

Additionally, I agree with sorting the HDMI cables. However, the customer does not want to remark directly on the HDMI cables.
Therefore, I suggest instead marking point that the cable tie

if you have any question, please contact me.

Thanks

Dear Mr Son

We update FIT vendor FA report: HDMI cable cosmetic and Function issue:

1. Cause of the appearance defect: During the adhesive application process, the wires were not placed separately as required, and the outer molds were stacked crosswise, resulting in adhesive contamination on the outer mold.

2. Cause of the Function electrical defect leakage is that the employees did not strictly follow the 90-degree up-and-down shaking test. During the retesting of the defects, it was found that when the shaking amplitude was around 45-60 degrees, both the electrical test and the TV test were OK. However, when the shaking amplitude was around 90 degrees up and down, the defect of intermittent disconnection during shaking appeared,
=> Root cause for the appearance defect leakage is that the contamination of the outer mold with glue is relatively minor. The inspectors did not focus on this type of defect, resulting in the oversight during the inspection process.

Action:
1. Conduct training for external inspectors and introduce a trap test assessment on the issue of foreign molds being glued to enhance employee alertness.
2.The improvement action, the shaking test angle reaches 90 degrees, and only then does the switch trigger to proceed to the next step. Additional shaking test has been added, with a 200% test to prevent any missed tests.

Pls help review FIT FA report detail.

Many thanks
Rachel
